FIRST FOOT GUARDS EVENTS, 2015

We invite you to come to our events, see what we do, and consider joining the Guards. All events are open to the public and are free except Old Sturbridge Village, Fort Ticonderoga, and Fort at Number 4 where there is a nominal admission fee. All events are subject to change due to weather or other cicumstances, so before attending an event, always check the event host's web site for the latest information. Most of these events repeat every year and there are photos and videos of many of them on our Photos and Videos pages.

Sat, April 11, 2015, Dress rehearsal for the battle on Lexington Green for the Patriots Day reenactment, 2-3:30pm (units arrive 1pm). Rain date Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2pm. Battle Green, Lexington center.

Sat, April 18, 2015, Battle Road: Returning to LexingtonMinute Man National Historic Park, Battle Road Trail behind Minute Man Visitor Center, Rte. 2A, Lexington MA, 2pm. Hundreds of British and Colonial reenactors will engage in a tactical weapons demonstration showing the running battle that took place along this deadly stretch of road as the British column marched back to Lexington.

Saturday: artillery barrages and trench digging in the morning, bloody assaults in the afternoon. Sunday: counterattack by Colonial forces in an attempt to retake the Charlestown peninsula.
