FIRST FOOT GUARDS EVENTS, 2021
We are back! After all reenactment events in 2020 and most in 2021 were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event sites are beginning to reopen with a limited schedule for the latter part of the 2021 season. Sites will follow state and CDC COVID guidelines in effect at the time of the events. In 2022 we expect to have a full schedule of events similar to 2019.
We invite you to come to our events, see what we do, and consider joining the Guards. All events are open to the public and are free except Fort Ticonderoga where there is a nominal admission fee. All events are subject to change due to weather or other cicumstances, so before attending an event, always check the event host's web site for the latest information. Many of these events repeat every year and there are photos and videos of many of them on our Photos and Videos pages.
Sun., July 4, 2021, Hingham July 4th Parade, Hingham, MA, 10am step-off from Hingham High School on Pleasant St. and ending around 11:15am at Station St. See website below for parade route and parking.

Sat.-Sun., July 24-25, 2021, Fort Ticonderoga, Defiance & Independence Battle Reenactment, 102 Fort Ti Rd., Ticonderoga, NY. Large-scale reenactment of the 1777 siege of American-held Fort Ticonderoga by British forces under General Burgoyne at the reconstructed stone fortress on beautiful grounds overlooking Lake Champlain, 9:30am-5pm each day.

Sat.-Sun., Oct. 16-17, 2021, Minute Man National Historical Park Reenactment, Minute Man Visitor Center, Rt 2A, 1 mile west of Rte. 128/95, Lexington MA. Large-scale Revolutionary War encampment with battles and demonstrations. Details to be announced.

Sat, Nov. 20, 2021, Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade, Plymouth, MA, 11am-1pm. Large, historically accurate chronological parade steps off at Benny's Plaza, 179 Court St. (Rte. 3A at Nelson St.) continues south on Court St. then left on Water St., ending at Cole's Hill on Water St.
